Young Rural Ambassador Competition
Do you have a passion for agriculture and rural Australia?
You could be our next Rural Ambassador for 2025!
The Upper Blackwood Ag Society is looking for someone aged between 20 and 30 who is interested in and motivated to promote regional development for our local community and the Ag sector in general.
The Rural Ambassador Award is a National Competition that highlights and celebrates young people who have a genuine interest in rural and regional Australia or New Zealand. The Award aims to provide an opportunity for young people to promote rural communities and industries, as well as be involved in promoting the importance of agriculture and food production. The Award will identify and recognise the next generation of leaders who have a strong commitment to agricultural industries and an involvement and or a genuine interest for the Agricultural Show movement either at the Local, State or National level.
UBAS has a rich history of Ambassadors who have proudly represented the Society and the
wider community through their desire to contribute back to the industry which underpins
our rural lives.
Applicants will have the opportunity to progress through rounds of the competition, with
the possibility of representing Western Australia at a National level. This is a great chance
to meet other like-minded people and to be further involved in the decisions which will
shape your future!
