- All sheep entering an agricultural show must be identified with their registered stud society id. or earmarked and have registered brand on NLIS ear tags; and be accompanied by a waybill.
- NUMBER OF DAYS GROWTH OF WOOL MUST BE STATED ON ENTRY FORM.
- Fly Struck Sheep will not be accepted.
- Sheep must be ticketed and in pens ready for judging by 9.30am.
- Tickets must be affixed to sheep, showing Class in which they are entered and number of days wool stated on tickets.
- Halters are to be encouraged.
- Stud Rams are eligible, except in Farmers’ Classes.
- Loading ramp entrance is along Railway Line.
- Exhibitors, or their representatives, need to attend their sheep at judging time.
- Any one animal can only be entered in one (1) Class.
- Sheep from Classes 21-27 (Farmers’ Classes) to be judged against the respective wool type of Classes 7-18 for Champion Ribbons.
- Sashes awarded for Champion Ram and Ewe over All British and Australian Breeds
- CHAMPION CARDS awarded in ANY CLASS at JUDGE’S DISCRETION.
- In allocating points all Sections to count: 1st, three points; 2nd, two points; Champion, Supreme Champion and Grand Champion one point extra.
- ALL Sheep must be Stud Stock.
- Points will be doubled if competition numbers are low.
- Entries welcome from any registered breeder in the Classes below.
- Please state breed on Entry Form.
- Each breed will be judged separately in Classes 28 -33.
- Classes 34-36 will be judged with all breeds together. These animals can be selected from Classes 28-33.
