ENTRIES to be delivered to Whistler Pavilion by 9.30am Monday 6 November 2023.
Alternatively, prior to Monday, ENTRIES will be accepted by Stewards or Show Clerk.
NO EXHIBITS ACCEPTED AFTER 10.00am MONDAY 6 NOVEMBER 2023
ALL PICTURES MUST be equipped for hanging with securely attached cord or wire, but not necessarily framed.
An Entry may be RECLASSED if considered appropriate by the Judge.
SALE OF WORK:
- Pictures may be for Sale with 10% commission going to the Society.
- Art Pieces for Sale MUST have Title and Price on Entry Form and back of picture.
- A Steward will be attending from 3.30pm-3.45pm for anyone wishing to purchase work.
“Novice”: A person who has never won a prize in that particular medium at the Upper Blackwood Agricultural Show.
Choose subject carefully – strong subject composition will provide better work.
All care will be taken of Exhibits but the Upper Blackwood Agricultural Society
accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to Entries.

“The aim of the Agricultural Affiliated Societies Art Award is to promote artists residing in regional Western Australia.”
Total Prize Pool $2,500 (Non-Acquisitive)
First Prize - $2000 | Runner Up - $500
Highly Commended – There may be more than one Highly Commended Rosette
awarded for work considered to be of a high quality.

Entry Requirements
- All artworks must be the artist’s own original, unaided work and must not in any way have areas that have been copied from a published article; and must have been executed within a two year period prior to the Dinninup Show.
- You may nominate any work from any Class, please indicate on your entry form which work/s you wish to nominate. (One artwork per artist is eligible for entrance into this Award at the Royal Show 2024, so it is up to the artist to notify the Steward if they already have a work selected from another Show that is eligible for the 2024 Royal Show.)
- All artwork must be suitably presented for hanging. If not formally framed, canvas-based artwork must be executed on stretched canvas with the staples on the back of the stretchers, not the side. All works on paper must be professionally presented with formal metal or wood outer frames, art glass or similar cover, with acid free mounts and backings.
- No Entry Fee. The winner selected at Show will be entered into Agricultural Affiliated Societies Art Award 2024 Royal Show and will need to deliver their work to the Royal Show for judging.
